2012 Plant Sciences Symposium
On September 28, 2012, the PSGSC planned and hosted an all-day symposium in the Varsity room at the University of Wisconsin's Union South. The title of the event was Emerging Trend and Paradigm Shifts in Plant Breeding, and featured speakers included Drs. Paul Stephens, Jose Crossa, Patrick Schnable, Kevin Folta, Andrew Bent and Molly Jahn. Funding was provided by Dupont Pioneer.

2011 Plant Science Symposium
On October 28, 2011, the PSGSC planned and hosted an all-day symposium in the Forum room at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery. The title of the event was Modern Tools for Plant Genetic Improvement, and featured six speakers, a poster session, and breakfast and lunch provided for the 100 registered attendees. Funding was provided by Pioneer Hi-Bred International.
